They must check their geography on crash-aerien as the Capital of Cameroon is Yaounde and not Douala.

nope the ex-Sabena A343's went to Lutfhansa first and are now flying for Air Namibia. They flew for Air France before they went to Sabena though ;)

According to local sources the aircraft was on final approach when the pilots momentarily lost sight of the runway due to intense rainfall. The A340 deviated from the approach path and eventually touched down off the side of the runway causing damage to undercarriage and auxiliary power unit. No person on board was injured in the incident.
