Good news to hear, but that has been expected.

I wonder if anyone knows about the Boeing 747-Adv? Or has Boeing already banned that project?

The 747 ADV is still in the offer stage, if enough orders are placed then they will authorize production.
Its the same proccedure the 777 just went through and has received authorization for build.

From what I understand they are very very close to the magic number to go ahead.
