Air Antwerp spokesman Yves Panneels told Aviation24.be that Air Antwerp should restart scheduled flights on 2 May. No flights have been introduced in the booking systems because of uncertainties surrounding future flights.

He told a few days ago that "no decision has been taken yet" on the restart of flights.

Flightlevel.be published yesterday an article about the airline : "Dark clouds above Air Antwerp" :

- The airline might cease its operations by the end of the month
- No investment, KLM is the only shareholder, as there was no more money or interest of CityJet into the airline
- OO-VLS has been transfered to MMX

Any news saying that Air Antwerp would go belly up or cease operations are premature. See our article:

The Netherlands has just increased the Covid-19 safety risk for the United Kingdom. It's now "very high risk", leading to quarantine at return. Air travel to/from London will thus be minimal the next weeks.

(Dutch only so far)
