MAN-CDG With Air France

Post by Comet »

Flight number AF2269, aircraft A320 F-GFKQ. One of the highpoints of this flight was my first sighting of an SN Brussels Avro in Manchester being prepared for SN2178 to Brussels (and how I envied those going on it!!!) The take off was good, and there was only slight turbulence in flight. The in flight meal consisted of the obligatory AF baguette with dry cheese, and I had proper Stella to drink. The fabric seats on the AF A320s are a bit grubby, and this was an older aircraft because it did not have the little winglets, but it was okay. The cabin crews on Air France are generally good. Another highpoint was the sighting of an Air France Concorde on landing at CDG, and another SN Brussels Avro RJ.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.
