Malaga -- SLR 2739

Post by Zorba »

Hi all!

This sunday I go on vacation to Malaga. Does somewone can ask the pilots of flight SLR2739 if I can join the flight in the cockpit (or a part of the flight)?

Please ask! The flight departs at 7 PM, we land at Malaga at about 10 PM, so we can have a beautifull sunset (around 9.40 PM?)

Thx

Avro,

Thx. Do you think, if I ask the pilot to join the flight in the cockpit, he would say yes?

I hope so

Rutger,

depends on the captain but since 09/11 pilots don't like inviting people in the cockpit... Hope you can go in though! ;-)

ciao,

Bart

My sister came back a few weeks ago from Sharm El Sheik on SLr, and during the flight, the cockpit door was even open.

Just go and say hello ;)

On my SLR flights about 3 years ago, I was invited in the cockpit every time. But unfortunately not for landing :(

Good luck - nice holiday.

Last year I was able to make a jumpseat landing on a VEX flight.
I just wrote a motivation letter (saying that I'm an aviation enthusiast etc...) and gave it to the purser while boarding he aircraft. I've done this on two flights and I had the chance to go once. So 50-50 :? it works. But today with all new regulations :?:
Anyhow, I would try, it costs nothing :!:

Hi,

Thx all! I think i'll write a letter to the captain .... Or just say it to the purser. Then he/she can ask the captain if I can

I realy hope so, it's a long time ago I flew, so i'm realy looking forward to it!

I'm going to miss you all! :D

Maybe I'll load your flight (very unlikely, but there's a chance - students do the most charter-flights ;-)). I work sunday from 3PM till 11.30PM. Make yourself recognizable. lol

So, one advise... don't make your suitcases too heavy! :-)

For whom? Those who load the planes? Good idea! Glider will appreciate...

Anyway, have a nice flight, take pictures of the meals (the meals? which meals?) and make a full report of your flights in the airline experience section of the Luchtzak forum 8)

I did that in 2001, but with CityBird, in C class. Great!

The funny thing is at the stop in Cuba: they spray insecticide to avoid capitalistic bugs. Compulsory, by law!

Maybe I can get a promotion then

Are there models of Sobelair planes that you can buy on the aircraft?

BIVA,

which seat do you have? Just additional information. If I have the plane, and when you are sitting at the right side, it's possible to see you (and your orange cap :p)

Oh yeah, cookies and chocolates are very welcome, I'll appreciate it, and I'm sure my colleagues will do too!

Anyway, have a nice holiday!

Glider,

I don't know, I don't have my ticket, I will know my seat at the last moment (at the airport).

I've just noticed that I don't have a orange cap  If you look at the cockpit, you will see me  (I hope  )

Which company do you work with? Maybe you can wear someting ...

My mam is now at the shop, so she can buy some american cookies :D
