Flying from Dusseldorf during the strike to bad weather in istanbul

Post by etopsflyers »

Hello dear friends,

I have recently flown on Turkish with their A330-300 and I must say it was a lot more than I expected in many ways.
Infact the strike hit and the airport was crowded with travellers.
There were very long queues to check-in at different airlines, at Turkish however it all went smooth.
Passport and security were again very crowded but the few dusseldorf working employees did their best for us.
We had around 1H delay at departure and the flight was uneventful till we approached Istanbul.
We had to hold a long time due to very bad weather in Istanbul.
I also experienced my first A330 go around which was great!
I would love to share my experience with you on the following video:
(Please note I made a mistake on my previous video which was Izmir-Ankara, I corrected and reuploaded it sorry for that).
