Go Pro 7 and selfie stick allowed to take on board ?

Post by Bal »

For my next trip I would like to bring my Go Pro 7 with selfie stick, is it allowed to take the selfie stick on board ? I don't want to loose my new toys ;-)

Hi Bud,

on the times that go, I strongly believe that nobody will make an issue out of a selfie stick when/ at your security check. Personally I always take it on my underdeck Luggage to avoid any unwanted argument with security.
At the end of the day you can indeed use it as a weapon but then again, they sell these babies at most airports so I guess it goes along with the unlogical sequence of events of having to give away your Swiss Knife at security and once you get on board your emirates fly, enjoy the metal cutlery in business class 
Aviation security and Aviation rules are often unclear and made of tape of tape :P

Sure you can take your GO PRO, as long as you don’t film people / things without their permission. Certain Airlines prohibit the use of cameras at their check in, gates and ramp operations so try your best not to piss these ones off :P .
What airline are you traveling with?
