I hope you will enjoy the Etihad flight. But it has been confirmed now several times that the 10 abreast in the Bangkok-Abu Dhabi stretch is 1 too much. Seat pitch and service still OK.

Question about your trip in september. You state UHT-HKG-UTH
That would mean a flight from UHT (? I don't know that one, but I presume you just mistyped and it is Udorn Thani ) to Hong Kong? I don't want to sound smarter than you, but I imagine you made a mistake and it should be Phuket ( HKT )

http://aow.be/airportcode.html

So Airasia !
Few people are aware about the Udorn Thani - Phuket direct flight. Also Chiang Mai -Phuket is possible with Airasia.
Enjoy your trips. By the way: if you have a seat window, your flight in September will probably show only inundated paddy fields around Bangkok in September.

1 Extra : if you fly Etihad quite often, apply for the free membership card. Airmiles add up quickly. And with a bit of luck you get a free upgrade or lounge access.

Are you sure you are flying RIX (Riga,Latvia) to VIL ( Dakhla,Morocco) ?

Yes, UTH = Udon Thani. to HKT Phuket, not HKG, ouch....
A few years ago they built a new terminal with one (1) ramp gate, lol

And the Udon-Phuket daily flight with Air Asia is nice, brand new A320.
I often look for promotions on their website and find return tickets UTH-BKK or Phuket HKT for 10 euro!

But I fly business class on Etihad, no 10 abreast for me thanks.
Curious for the trip on AC to YUL though, that will be cattle class...
I found an excellent deal at 520 euro.

Watch out for your luggage allowance with Airasia, also the very stringent hand held 7 kg allowance...

So far this year :

Jan 13 : BRU-BMA, SN, ARJ
Jan 14 : BMA-BRU, SN, ARJ

Jan 17 : BRU-FCO, AZ, A321
FCO-PMO, AZ, MD80
First time at PMO.
This hill just 2km South-East of the AD (rising to +3000 ft while the AD is basically sea level !) is really impressive and makes landing tricky when stong winds blow from SE.

Jan 17 : PMO-FCO, AZ, MD80
FCO-BRU, AZ, A321

Feb 23 : CRL-CIA, FR, 738
CIA-CRL, FR, 738
Cheap flight but a hell of a long day.

Apr 6 : BRU-ARN, SK, 736
Can't find traces I flew the -600 before ! Think I flew them all but the baby.

Apr 7 : ARN-CPH, SK, 738
CPH-BRU, SK, 319

Apr 11 : BRU-DME, SN, A319
Apr 13 : DME-GVA, LX, 320
GVA-BRU, SN, AR1
Pending obtaining visa in time.

Apr 18 : BRU-FCO, AZ, A321
Apr 22 : FCO-BRU, AZ, A321
Part business, part leisure.

Keep on postponing South East Asia and Africa for the moment.
:(

Looking forward to it ! Anyway, since what I think is a kind of (mild) midlife crisis is taking the upper hand over my legendary "westvlaamse nuchterheid" (in a free english translation that would probably become "westflemish down-to-earthedness" (or something like that ;)), I booked it in business class  . Found out that Doha has a "premium" terminal for business and first class pax, which should be much better than the place I wandered around 3 years ago on my way to Trivandrum (on a way too long stopover in Doha), looking for a beer to grab but just to finally find out that Doha is (was?) a 'dry' airport...
