Hi,
Just book flights to Sevilla too (with the family). Will make a trip in Andalousia and go to Southern Portugal. My oldest daughter will go with some friends to Portugal too through Faro ... (very expensive: normal price 340 EUR! - special price 242 EUR ...)

This will help you out. It is a great website about Sky Harbor airport: http://www.visitingphx.com/siteindex.html go to the maplinks page for spotter info.Jense wrote:Off-topic: do you know some good spotting-places @ PHX?
A great place to spot at is the Goodyear, AZ airport. It is about 30 miles from PHX and they have several stored airliners there.
Btw: sorry for being fftopic:
Onward and Upward...
upcoming flight
Hi,
I've put my text on accident under a new topic....so here it follows under the right topic.
This year I'll be flying to Crete, Chania. Departing on August 2nd I think. It's actually the second time I go to Chania and the third time I go to Crete. The first year I went to Heraklion was on a Condor 757. This year I'll be flying TUI I guess.

I fly to Hanoi (Vietnam) on 4 April from Brussels :
- BRU-MAN SN
- MAN-KL-HAN MH
It's great to fly on SN. for me, it's the best regional airline in Europe (professionalism, very polite, ....) and I never forget what SNBA made for my family in July whn we came back from Asia and were blocked in Heathrow airport (BA on strike). SNBA accepted to take us on their flight in place of BA

@firrech: I was also blocked in LHR due to the strike!
How could SN take you on board? As far as I know, only BA and BD flights were available.
We were lucky to be rebooked on the only flight between LHR and BRU the day after (Saturday 19/07). An A319, totally packed of course...
I made a trip report about this, in case you are interested: http://www.airliners.net/discussions/tr ... main/35637

I don't totally agree with you. If you're in the first 2-3 rows, you also aheva nice view !!! But the middle section is indeed a very bad place for people who want to enjoy the sight.Comet wrote:I wouldn't want an upgrade to Business on the Avro - it's too near the front, on the Avro you ewant a view of the back of the engines if you take photos and video like I do. Business class would be boring as hell I think.
BTW My brother (L-1011) and myself managed to get 2 tickets on a special Mooneclipse flight on the 4th of May 2004. The flight will be operated by a chartered SNBA A319

Sounds great! What's the cost of the ticket?Avro wrote:BTW My brother (L-1011) and myself managed to get 2 tickets on a special Mooneclipse flight on the 4th of May 2004. The flight will be operated by a chartered SNBA A319.

I'm pretty sure they will make rotations, otherwise there will be some people who won't see anything !!! . But I hope to be at the window during T/O and landing
