My first flight was in a Cessna ( I think ) from Antwerp to Antwerp ( EBAW ) and we flew for about 30 minutes over the city and the river Schelde. I wasn't scared but a bit ill of the shaking plane.
My first jet experience was with a Sabena B737-300 ( or -400 ) in April 1997. We flew towards Paris from Brussels and back to see the Hale-Bopp comet. Was I afraid? No not at all, it was on this flight that I got my passion for aviation. Thank you Sabena, thank you Boeing and most of all... Thank you Wright brothers! :D

My first flight was on Air France Caravelle III F-BHRL "Dauphiné", from Nice to Brussels, on july 10th, 1966.
When climbing aboard through the rear ventral door, I was a bit apprehensive, as I had no idea of the inside of an airliner !
Taking off towards the east, the Caravelle climbed turning sharply to the right, in order to gain altitude over the sea : the first of many exhilarating moments in the air.
Sadly, the pilot of this flight, Michel Solomon, lost his live three years later, when Air France Caravelle "Béarn" hit the sea between Ajaccio and Nice (11 september 1969).

I believe my first flight was in 1993, not sure about that. But I do know it was a flight from AMS to LHR on board a KLM 737.

My first flight was in 1986 between BRU and ZRH on an SN B737-200. I was three years old at that time.

In fact I already flew a few months before I was born, but I don't think this counts......

Mine was a Vickers Viscount or HS-748 (can't remember) from Inverness to LHR via Glasgow in June 1981. I must have been terrified 'cos I threw up most of the way. And again on the connecting Gulf Air flight to DXB via Bahrain on a TriStar....

2001? Can't be possible... Thomas Cook started operating in 2002... wasn't it 2002?

My first flight was when I was 6 and it was the destination BEG(Belgrade) to TGD(Podgorica).Domestic flight and we were visiting relatives in Niksic,Montenegro(15km from Podgorica-Golubovci airport).
It was 1995 and a VERY poor time in Yugoslavia I remember that one lady had entered a plane with a dog belive it or not,and then her seat had leakage! Can you belive this?It was a ATR 72 YU-ALO they made the repairment that was virtualy the only aircraft flying for JAT Airways(Than JAT-Yugoslav Airlines) in that time. When we landed in Podgorica a officer escorted us the military terminal and I don't know what happened than. What a horor story in air traffic don't you think?Only that aircraft operated as I sad,two destinations, only domestic,Podgorica and Tivat no one had the chance to affored a air ticked and JAT had no international license(after YU breakup 1991)so flying a plane in that time was a rare thing in Yugoslavia.I also remember that the 72-seeter had only 14 passengers icluding me counted. So sad...Thankfuly that time is over!
Greetings

My first flight was in 1969
Piper PA24-250 Comanche
HB-OVL
from Bern (LSZB) to Sion (LSGS) (and back later the same day).
I do not remember very much of that flight except that my brother and I were more interested in a Mickey Mouse Comics that in the flight :-)

My first scheduled flight was in 1976
Zürich (LSZH) - New York JFK (KJFK)
Trans World Airlines
Boeing 707-320 (already with inflight movies)
I remember this flight as being very nice...this was the time I really got interested in aircraft and flying :-)

My first flight was at the age of 17, in 1979. An air baptism in a Belgian Air Force C130, Koksijde-Koksijde, flying over the province of West-Vlaanderen. Was organised by a teacher of mine, who was reserve-officer in the air force. Quite an experience. No seats, but hanging in 'nets' at the side of the aircraft. And yes, during this first flight I visited the cockpit.

First flight in a commercial plane was in 1987, Brussels-Tenerife, I believe on Spantax. Don't remember which aircraft...

Times have changed, haven't they. My little girls have by now already flown altogether 30+ times.[/b]

My first flight was when I wasn't even born yet when I was in my mom's belly. But when I still was a 0 year old baby I went on the same trip. Garuda Indonesia AMS-SIN-CGK-SIN-AMS. You all know the AC type I guess. I made this trip a million times or so, with different airlines though. It was somewhere in 1990

Ryanair in spring 2002 (I think) with an old 737-200. Flew CRL-SNN, spend the night in Shannon and flew right back.

Goal of the trip: to finally get on an airplane! :D
Price: € 25
