Contrails below are taken from the treshold of RWY 25L at Brussels:
A CSA A310, probably heading to LHR:
A My travel A332, unkown destination:
An unkown B747, can't see exactly if it's a -400 but my bet goes for it:
A British Airways B772, probably heading to LHR:
Another British Airways, a B744 this time, also probably heading to LHR:
An Austrian A332, probably heading to JFK:
An unidentified aircraft, but my bet goes to a Thomas Cook B753:
An Emirates B773 (ER?), probably heading to LHR:
Another Emirates, a B772 this time, heading to the UK:
And the last Emirates of the day for me, also for this bunch of contrail-pics, an A332, unkown destination:

Hello,
What a beautiful sky today!
So I was watching trough my window. I saw 2 contrails close to eachother. First I thought they were crossing. But a minut later the two contrails were turning to the right.
One contrail was of a twin engine plane and the other 1 engine. Both heading north (holland maybe) around 12 o'clock.
Has anyone seen these 2? Could it be a plane which is being escorted by a fighter jet?

LHR doesn't get OK A310's (at least on a regular base), the aircraft you saw was probably OK050 PRG-JFK, as this is a frequent visitor into our airspace.Jense wrote:A CSA A310, probably heading to LHR
VIE-JFK (OS087) is a B763 these days (I saw OS087 on that day by the way)Jense wrote:An Austrian A332, probably heading to JFK
In case it was flying in a westerly direction, LHR is the only option as all BA B744's are LHR-based.Jense wrote:Another British Airways, a B744 this time, also probably heading to LHR
Somewhere around 14:10? This was UA917 FRA-IAD N197UA.pipodeclown wrote:744 UA???
