Brubiac,

As Frederic already mentioned, the 340 most likely belongs to Gulf Air. A4O-LB visited EGLL today and passed overhead Belgium around noon as GF002.

The 747 of ELAL was most likely operating flight LY315 LLBG-EGLL. ID: 4X-ELA

Another British Airways, a B744 this time, also probably heading to LHR:
Image

An Austrian A332, probably heading to JFK:

Hello,

What a beautiful sky today! :)
So I was watching trough my window. I saw 2 contrails close to eachother. First I thought they were crossing. But a minut later the two contrails were turning to the right.

One contrail was of a twin engine plane and the other 1 engine. Both heading north (holland maybe) around 12 o'clock.

Has anyone seen these 2? Could it be a plane which is being escorted by a fighter jet?

@Air_Defence:

First of all; I like your pictures. Especially the LTU and the United!

Your reqs:
The LTU is an A330
The 747: my guess is a Lufthansa-plane... (due to the grey belly)

Guys,

747 is also a lufthansa one IMO.
The 330 is one departing from Dusseldorf.

LHR doesn't get OK A310's (at least on a regular base), the aircraft you saw was probably OK050 PRG-JFK, as this is a frequent visitor into our airspace.
Jense wrote:An Austrian A332, probably heading to JFK
VIE-JFK (OS087) is a B763 these days (I saw OS087 on that day by the way)
Jense wrote:Another British Airways, a B744 this time, also probably heading to LHR
In case it was flying in a westerly direction, LHR is the only option as all BA B744's are LHR-based.
pipodeclown wrote:744 UA???
Somewhere around 14:10? This was UA917 FRA-IAD N197UA.
