Re: KJK 29/05/19 B738 OO-TUV
According to FR24, it did KJK-LIS today.
Special charter?
Is the runway at KJK long enough for such a take-off?
About 10 years ago, there was a special 737 flight from KJK to Jersey; return flight the same day... I was happy to be one of the passengers then.

Duke

Re: KJK 29/05/19 B738 OO-TUV
I fervently hope someone checked that before organising the flightIs the runway at KJK long enough for such a take-off?
But they have some 1800m there, that's not too bad for a B737. B737's (though a smaller variant) operated from Antwerp's 1500 m at one time - I used to see the chap who did the "weight and balance" calculations (a required step of flight planning) and he called it one heck of a job.
It is not impossible that the present flight will have some limit on the weight of px and luggage, especially as Lisboa is quite a distance so they need to take a fair amount of fuel.
