I think I saw it departing over Brussels, using the "Kanaalroute" - but it disappeared into cloud before I could be sure. Whatever it was, it left no trace on FR24.

Indeed, I heard an unusual noise this morning but at 6nm from the RWY it was already in the soup and couldn't see the beast.
I checked on FR24 and it appeared but then without destination indicated.
Replaying it now it shows indeed she was heading for ATH.
