And EK 3 A380 from DXB to LHR is diverting to CDG.

I think we have to be happy with already all those nice visitors...
But who knows maybe a A380 will show up but I don't think so.

This evening 16 diverted wide body airplanes landed in Brussels Airport with approximately 300 pax on board of each airplane. The Brussels Airport staff and the Red Cross are doing all the necessary to provide accommodation for the night. Those passengers without a Schengen visa will have to stay in the terminal. Brussels Airlines staff too have made tremendous efforts to accommodate the others in Brussels hotels.

Congratulations to all those workers!

Indeed, they're going back to ATH. LHR will remain closed until tomorrow.
UPDATE: Heathrow will not open & will remain closed until tomorrow as the level of snow & ice means it is not safe to operate flights

Just saw on BBC World that LHR's northern runway is in use again ...
Is there any information available (and, if so, where can it be found) as to when all these diverted birds are going to leave BRU ? Any chance they'll still be there tomorrow morning ? I might gear myself up for a little visit to BRU (15 Minutes from where I live...). www.brusselsairport.be does not seem to be too much of a help ...

I wonder where A6-ECX is heading for. UAE 5 just turned north but still at FL340.

EVA67 (EVA Air B77W B-16707) also landed in CGN about 15 minutes ago.

I think so, yes. How stupid can you be ? Flying to a airport that is closed.

On the BRU website:

Air China and Korean Air have an ETD of 0600. Biman Bangladesh ETD 1130. That's all that's mentioned so far.
