The Blue Panorama plane will be used for quite some time since an A330 is having a C check done.

Last month the BAF A333 as well as an A332 were used as stand-ins and as of this month a Blue Panorama 763 is used.

It's actually the first time SN keeps its long haul schedule intact during a period of maintenance: previous years they've operated mostly with a reduced schedule...
the impact of this will obviously be seen on their traffic numbers.

@ hvs89

2 things

1. aircraft have no gender they are it, not he or she!

2. whilst the correct serial of the E-4 is 73-1677 it is presented on the fin as 31677. US serials are painted on different types in different ways and take some time to learn the systems of fiscal year etc. Give tangolima a chance. He is only reporting what he sees ( I suspect he is more a civil spotter than mil.) and military serials are anything but straightforward with each country having its own system and within each country there may be variations. Accept that not everyone has your depth of knowledge.

This can be disputed. Some say that aircraft are like ships, which are usually referred to as feminine ("she").

@ concordino

Excuse my poor English skills, I'm not as fluent as you and I totally agree.

Moreover, I asked tangolima if the serial of the E-4 was 73-1677 because I didn't find the aircraft on Airliners. The reason is that I’ve got poor knowledge about military serials. However, thank you for the information about the serial on the fin, I learned something.

Andre

That is the romatic in you. I have little or no soul. I love aviation but see aircraft as machines that fly hence my not wanting them to be male or female.
