I have some questions for the spotter’s day:

When will it start?
I was thinking that 8U30 maybe 9U00 than you will see some international flights, like AA.
When will it stop?
Until 13u00 or later?=> then you will see the departure of some A330 of SNBA.
Or what do you think of these schedules?
Is there in the area something to eat or to drink? I have never been there.

Greetz,

Dave

Sorry, I can't be there

Almost the whole time I'm in Belgium, and just that one week I'm on holiday... And just for this time I would be in Belgium, and not in England...

Ben

Or what do you think of these schedules?
I was thinking of coming there in the morning around 08:30 and leaving in the evening around 17:00..
Is there in the area something to eat or to drink? I have never been there.
I you want you can walk a little bit and go in a café. Personally, I won't do that (you miss aircrafts  ). I'll take a frigobox.

Hi all!

only 1 month away from the second spottersmeeting!!

I have to admit something... on the 20th of July I'm 'blanc', this is kind of a reserve but I will ask to sign-in in the evening so I can join you all for the entire day!! No problemos ;-)

Anyway may we ask all of you to advertise for the spottersmeeting on all the aviation forums that you cross 8) so that the press needs to get their wide-angle lens to take a group-picture ;-)

ciao,

Bart

I'll be there by 0815 in the morning and I'll stay until 1830. I'd like to stay longer, but then I'd mis my last train from Kortenberg to Brussels Midi.

Chris,

There are 2 companies whit the code EO one is Express One International of the US, they only fly B727’s, and CAL Congo Airlines they have BAC one elevens, B727’s and B737’s last year they had no L1011 but they could get it this year. Because the destination is FIH that is Kinshasa it would be CAL. Hewa Bora Airlines has L1011, maybe one is leased to CAL.

Dave

Dave: EO is former CAL.

EO and ALX are the official codes for Hewa Bora.

Frederic I know, but look at these sites:

http://www.airlinetechnology.net/airlin ... africa.htm
http://www.airlinetechnology.net/airlin ... ortham.htm look for express one

http://www.bird.ch/bharms/asr_sh00.htm search for EO

That are 2 sites whit the same information

Sites are not updated... (the one of Bill Harms you mention will never be updated anymore btw, is moved now to jetphotos)

I had a look in my JP (last edition), and there they confirm that EO/ALX = Hewa Bora.

Watch out with the internet: I discovered already a lot of mistakes in all those lists published!

I don't think you'll see an A340. the A340 and A330 have become quit rare (except for SN Brussels of course) at Brussels since Sabena went bankrupt. Maybe if you're lucky, Egypt Air will send an A340 instead of the 747-300.
