Hi everybody
I've got a little question.
This Friday my parents are leaving with the FQ 5714 flight to Funchal.... But they are afraid of delays, so maybe someone can search out if the plane "sleeps" at the airport (although I don't think so) or where it comes from????
Of course I won't be sure if it's delayed if I know where it comes from but it's nice to know which plane it will be (I hope someone can find the reg? ).
The plane leaves at 6.15 am.
Thank you very much!
Greetings

Hello Kaninchen87,
I can't tell you which plane it will be, but maybe this information can be useful.
The last FQ flights to arrive land around 3 o'clock in the night. FQ has 6 A320's, you can expect that maybe 2 or 3 land earlier in the night, mostly around midnight. So if a plane catches a delay, it still has 3 or more hours to catch it up. A delay on an incoming flight of 30 minutes is not noticeable anymore on the early morning departures.
On Monday I had friends leaving BRU with FQ, and on Tuesday my parents also took FQ at 6 AM, after the weekend with much delay on the FQ flights, but both aircrafts left BRU ontime.
So I don't think your parents' flight will carry a delay that was caused the day before. But it is possible that there will be problems with missing pax the day itself, causing a delay.
I hope this can help you.

Now that we're talking about OO-TCJ anyway...where was it this summer? I haven' t seen it a single time... and what was even more weird...where were all the Thomas Cook's this summer? I've only seen a very few of them during what they call a summer holiday.
Best regards: Yannick
I visit BRU at 26/07 and most of the FQ were landed between 16.30-17.00.But between the holiday the aircrafts flew between 3 and 4 flights a day. OO-TCJ is mostly flying to Egypt or Maroc.

Kristof
