Hi

Robin, that are once again very nice shots! :P It looks like because of the fact that it's not a whole week good weather, but only some days in the week, sometimes some rain...that the sky is really more beautifull, more clear...If I see some other pictures from in the summer...I must say that these are nicer...or maybe it's just the light.

By the way, it seemed to be a busy hour for landings on RWY 25R, was 25L closed for a short time? I wouldn't like to stand on 25L on a moment like that...missed TK, PGT, IWD,Albanian, LY -, not mentioning the Cargo's where among even a Gemini MD-11 (that's been a LOOONG time I've seen one at BRU) and even TWO Ethiopean Cargo's...really great!!!

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Hi Yannick,

In normal circumstances (like yesterday), all Sundays runway 25R is in use for landing
until about 17:00 due to noise regulations. Runway 20 is in use for take-off then. After
17:00 they normally change to the usual 25L/25R procedure.

The GCO MD11 is currently operating flights for SV (hence the small sticker). Weather
was nice indeed, but more and more clouds were coming and around noon it was
temporarily overcast. In the afternoon the sunny spells were longer again.

And indeed, in this crazy summer we're having, you have to take advantage of the
sunny breaks. Whole days of spotting with permanent sunshine don't seem to be possible
this summer (until now). Maybe August will be better...

Regards and thanks again for your nice comment,

Robin Bamps.
