Guys, may I point you at rule nr 2 of the spotting-forum:
Can we please follow this rule?Rule #2:
We would also like to encourage you to post your own logs, rather then only requesting the regs you missed, without posting your entire log. Try to post as many logs as possible. Other members could benefit from it. And members like Brubiac, 744rules and Pegasus would have a lower workload.
If you were not able to do a log and still have some request you can always ask for the requests, it's not forbidden, but please make a note in your message which says that you weren't able to make a log.
Can't find others - no log made just from BaseStation Reporter. If you can give me approx times I can perhaps tell you which Pegasus or Vueling you saw.OO-JFP wrote:Brieky,
can't help this time.
Would like to enter a few additional requests, all landed between 2 and 5 PM on 25L:
2 x B737 Skyjet
B738W Pegasus TC-AAK/AAP/API
CRJ Air Nostrum/Iberia regional EC-JNX
A320 Iberworld
A320 Vueling EC-JFF/JTR
2 * A321 Freebird (FBT & FBG ?) yes!
Many thanks in advance,
OO-JFP
Meerkat
Thanks Ray and Olivier.
Didn't know there were 3 Pegasus 737's in the afternoon.
My log for this afternoon:
OO-VEN B737 Brussels Airlines
The only one that I saw landing on 25R while I visited my mother who happens to live right under 25R but unlikely for a Sunday, most traffic landed on 25L. Happy ?
Noticed a new one in the evening on the OAL147 flight: EC-KBO B734.
Best regards,
OO-JFP

Flight ID : CKS208 Flight No. : 17443 Tail No. : N703CK Equipment : 747
ETD OMDB 4/14/2007 01:10 UTC ETA EBBR 4/14/2007 08:10 UTC
ETD EBBR 4/14/2007 14:30 UTC ETA KJFK 4/14/2007 22:00 UTC
ETD KJFK 4/15/2007 00:01 UTC ETA KEWR 4/15/2007 01:15 UTC
CKS208 is flying DXB-BRU-JFK-EWR!
The aircraft departs from JFK at 00:01 and arrives at EWR at 01:15.
The flying distance between JFK and EWR is probably 50-100km.
What could be the explanation for having such a long schedule on such a short flight, especially at such a late/early time of the day?
==> In the meantime Jeff from Kalitta replied: The congestion in that area is what requires the routing. The reason of the trips are generally repositioning of A/C. Hope this helps.
