Aviation24.be - luchtzak

Post by luchtzak »

Dear users of this website, dear forum members,

2017 will be a fantastic year for this website, total pageviews have grown 14% and a news section increase of 175% more pageviews. (full stats later this year ;-) )

With the growth we also have our boundaries: the name 'luchtzak' is very hard to pronunciate in English (and French) hence we have decided to add another name to the website: www.aviation24.be

We would like to keep our Belgian touch (hence the .be) but we also want to attract international visitors.

In the coming weeks a few (invisible) changes might happen, but we do inform you that your favourite aviation website and forum will always remain reachable via www.luchtzak.be

Our office (and this topic) is open for feedback and comments.

It was a nice move to increase the focus there, a real added value
My messages reflect my personal opinion which may be different than yours. I beleive a forum is made to create a debate so I encourage people to express themselves, the way they want, with the ideas they want. I expect the same understanding in return.

A few url modifications have been processed on the main website.

The forums are still available via www.luchtzak.be/forums (but the new url is encouraged)

Mmmm... gonna miss the inside joke... ;-)

Probably you thought about it, but...
Shouldn't we adapt the banners as well? Or does that stay www.luchtzak.be? Or hybrid?

I have asked the forum to temporary change all the links from luchtzak dot be to the new with funny results like the title ;-)

If Google takes over I will change that setting again.

A new front page design has been put online, it's 2017 after all :D

Last month more than 50% visited our site through mobile, the new design perfectly fits into the more modern style of news reporting.

When you try to enter the forum via luchtzak.be/forums, you have to login twice. I think the second attempt is then via aviation24.be/forums.
