A planned and important update of the PHP script and the MySQL database on the server this morning, all is running fine except for the coppermine picture gallery. Time permitting this will also be solved ASAP.

Picture gallery is now located here: www.luchtzak.be/picturegallery and working just fine (an update of the coppermine gallery will be provided soon, I hope we can re-open the registration process again because now it has been closed due to spam accounts registering every 15 minutes!),

Furthermore an important phpbb update has been performed, read more about it here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=2014195 (thank you for your patience during the downtime,

Don't forget the time will change again to summertime next weekend: ucp.php?i=165 Summer time/DST is in effect ==> set to: yes,

As usual: don't forget to ask questions in case there is something wrong with the website!

We are currently doing diagnostics and performance-checks on the server to locate the problems (hardware or software).

Thank you for the patience so far, hoping to be back on track within a few hours.

Have you ever thought about colocation ?
sounds bad at the first place, because you share a server with other sites, but you don't have to manage anything then, no hardware, no software, only phpbb updates.
Ovh has decent solutions that could fit the kind of traffic you have here I guess.

Sorry once more for the downtime this evening, it's giving me gray hair!

Server performance and technical support are below standards to run a decent website as www.luchtzak.be !

But the future is looking bright with a move to a new server very soon! So please stay patient (as I am forced to be) ;-)

Switching servers! The forum on the old server has been closed and we are currently redirecting to the new server, this procedure might take up to 48 hours but in general this is not that long.

When you log in and browse back it might be possible that you are logged out automatically, that's also a normal reaction.

Will keep you informed and bring news ASAP.
