Yep indeed, even after the important update the frontpage was attacked again. I really don't know why people do things like this

Why are people not understanding that our site is for the love of aviation and we are all here to network and profess our love for aviation.

Yeah, they don't care what kind of site you have, they just search the internet for any website they are able to hack and hack it.

guys, just stop giving this so much attention, that's exactly why people like that do this: to get attention and respect, just like taggers. Just one piece of advice: stop giving them attention and feel sorry for them because really you must be kind of desperate to do this kind of things...

The webmaster improved security, he tested his 'skills' again... Simple as that. Ignore him, and he'll find another site that does pay attention to him...

I have the impression that since about a week now, lot's of people have left this website, the traffic isn't the same anymore. Can anybody tell why this is happening? Because the site is being reworked?

Probably. It's never a good idea to try out new things on a working production system. Especially if that means sending people off to a different site which doesn't even have a domain name, and breaking half the features, making posts disappear, etc.
