Military aircraft Category's

Hi all,

Today i found this on a notam of my local airbase - Koksijde/ Belgium :

AT EBFN AERODROME PPR 48HRS FOR FIXED WING A/C CAT 6 AND HIGHER

Can somebody on here explain what these CAT's are ?? ( What type of plane by Cat)

from CAT1 til CAT .... ( last Cat )

Decoding NOTAMs can be a difficult job, indeed. So they built decoding software
ICAO called the Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde: CONC. For IATA that was SSC.

Conc(erning) your Q, I had in mind a letter code as in:
RESTRICTED ONLY FOR AIRCRAFT CAT A AND CAT B.
