Amazing! a plane of 53 years old. Older than its crewmembers. And also older than most US Navy Ships.Because an active B-52 got damaged, a stored B-52 got reactivated
Must be solid construction. Maybe this reactivation is also meant as some sort of experiment. To what extent can military planes of this size, stored for 8-10 years in the desert, be re-activated. Interesting.
I'm wondering what the max.storage period of a plane can be to still allow an effective and economically justifiable re-activation...

Restarting production for just one piece can hardly be more effective, I should think.
And yes, one can have many misgivings about Uncle Sam, but for building solid few will do better.
