I really hope you are right Andre, the spotters meet is to be a highlight of my holiday next year and I want loads of Luchtzak members to turn up.

When I saw that one of those events covered the date of my spot, I thought that everyone would be heading off to wherever and not to Kortenberg.

I go spotting, at most, twice next year (one day in Manchester the day before we fly to BRU and then the spot in Kortenberg) and I want it to be a special occasion.

Thanks Chris (your reply went in just as I was waiting for this stupid broadband connection to work - I hate broadband!!!) it will be good to have you on the spotters meet. I hope that there are others as keen as you (I know of at least one already!)

i am not shure, but you plan the meeting on a saterday or sunday isn't it ?? THE TLP IS ONLY ON WEEKDAYS
i don't see how these two can interfere with eatch other

Sorry Vonsmaulhausen, I didn't know it was weekdays only. When I saw 30/08-24/09 I thought it would be happening on the 12th as well.

I just want a spotters meet for as many as possible that's all, that is why I chose Sunday, there are several students who are coming along and I thought Sunday would be best for them.

There's a lot of spotting still to do before we get to September, Comet.

After dropping my wife off at the airport this morning (to MAN on BA in a few minutes back tomorrow on SNBA) I had time for a quick run round the perimeter or BRU ( lots of crappy roadworks in Steenokkerzeel today folks!) which netted the following:-

F-GRZI CRJ700 Air France(Brit Air)
EK-65072 Tu-134A (nice fully glazed nose so an early model)
D-CLUE Citation
G-JETC Citation
40111 C-21A (Lear Jet) USAF
1213 C-130 UAE AF
OM-AAD B737-300

I made 4 of these, and now to work!

Lucky you Meerkat. I have only one spotting day before 12th September, and that is 7th September in MAN.

I would love to seea glazed-nose Tu-134, I have never had much chance to get Russian types on video (apart from the An124 once) and I always like to see them. I would love to have captured the Il62, but the chances of that now are very remote.

I think the Tupolev has to be the best sighting on your list.
