Once again Aeroflot was named the world’s most punctual air carrier in November 2014 by FlightStats (US flight statistics agency), the carrier’s press-service reports.
“According to the FlightStats’ report for November 2014, 93.22% of Aeroflot flights arrived on time. In terms of punctuality Aeroflot outmatched such famous air carriers as SAS, KLM, Lufthansa, British Airways and Emirates,” the carrier’s press-service noted.
«High quality of service is the key to success for any transport company, especially an airline, because air carriers have to meet stringent standards and the air transportation segment is extremely competitive,» Aeroflot CEO Vitaliy Savelyev said.
FlightStats is a global leader in terms of analysis of flight data. The company is tracking information about more than 86% of flights all over the world in real-time mode allowing the company to track even slight delays of 15 minutes.

Well BA may be famous - but certainly not for punctuality. So no prizes for beating BA (at least from me) but being the most punctual in the World is a fine effort & congrats to them.
Would have thought you would have needed at least 98% of flights to arrive within 15 mins to get that award though...
