Would like to see a press release first...

No press release = everything can still change

I would also like to see a press release first, but if it's true it would be great :) BRU would finally be connected to Asia again

That would be great, let's hope that the pressrelease will come soon!

Only one question: Why do they start from the winterseason? Wouldn't it be better to come from the summerseason, so that they can maybe take some advantage of the holidays here?

Greets,

Pieter

Winter season here = hot season in Singapore. Nice destination if people want to escape our cold winters...

Furthermore, Singapore is mainly a business destination, for which the winter months are better than the summer months.

Would they codeshare with Snba this time???

Just wondering...

(As parent company of Virgin Atlantic, they might approve of the merger plans between snba and vex, no? )

vflies:

Singapore Airlines and Virgin Express have nothing to do with eachother.

I believe that SIA has 49% of the shares of VS.

And still then: a press release hasn't been issued yet, which means that the final decision hasn't been taken yet (everything can change till the publication of the press release).

If you'd bother to read my post you'd notice:
- the conditional form I used
- the pun I intended

Any ideas on what aircraft type they will use? Will we see 747 pax once again at BRU or will it be 777's?

Vflies: I don't really see the problem?

Emirates: we won't see any SIA pax aircraft at all I'm afraid ;)

What a shame, just have to make do with the freighters then! Maybe one day.
