Is extreme weather in Europe impacting on air travel?

Post by SN30952 »

Does the severe flooding in parts of the U.K. and the heat wave in Eastern Europe have a serious impact on travel?

In Western England, the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire have been affected by flooding.
In Southeast Europe, extreme high temperatures have caused heat-related deaths and brush and forest fires. Affected countries include Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Serbia, and Turkey. Deadly heat wave grips Europe

For the UK and Benelux, last minutes are doing really well (according to vrt nieuws and luchtvaartnieuws). Most people are tired of the bad weather in the last few months in those regions...

I won't be happy if I had to travel to Southern Europe these days, far to hot for me.
25°C would just be fine (and no rain or showers of course), even in Belgium.
