Jetairfly summer fleet

Post by JAF-195 »

Hi everybody,
Just thaught that it would be intresting to look a bit closer to the planes used by JAF this summer.
As we know, they've already got their 737-500 and the AB 737-400
Their own brand knew 737-800 should show up in July.
Lately I've noticed a beautiful brand new XL Airways Germany B738, with
Jetairfly titles on ( + operating for Jetairfly)
Does anybody know about for how ong JAF have leased this XL aircraft?

That is D-AXLE.

I heard he is to stay with JAF until the new 738 arrives from Seattle this summer. You may want to find conformation for this (TUB001 is the JAF expert on this forum 8) )

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Jep you're right. Until OO-JAF arrives, the German XL will be with us in wet lease.

OO-JAF arrival should be July 9th. However, the interior will not be installed yet, so it will be some more days untill she enters service.

The interior is already installed... but of course it will take some days for
some details...

And yes the Fokker 100 is apparently very profitable so I doubt they'll let it go anytime soon!

I really hope it. This aircraft is very useful on short and medium haul flights.

Note that Jetairfly is the only belgian airline to have bought it !
