Next vacation?

Post by vliegtuigfreak »

I know this is a strange topic, shurly for the Luchtzak members they are just back from there holiday. My next holiday is planned allready, In the "Paasvakantie" we go to New York JFK, to our friends in Flushing Meadows. We gonna book our airline tickets with Delta Airlines. And offcourse, good as i am   i gonna take pictures of the airlinemeals, the plane and the JFK Delta terminal. Theres a little chance that i can go in the cockpit, but i believe not, it's an American airline. And they are strong with the security. My question is, does sombody allready have plans for a next holiday?

Greetingzz
Sonny

I have very definite plans for my next holiday Sonny!

Next September I shall be spending another nine (probably) days in Belgium (Brugge) with a stopover at a city centre hotel before my flight out. I don't know who I shall fly with next year, I would like SN Brussels but I am seriously concerned that British Airways are taking over too many flights from MAN-BRU and SNBA only have a code number with them, I don't want to risk having to fly with BA, so I might be picking VLM again (lucky me!!) On this holiday I shall be visiting Brussels (probably eating at Falstaff) and definitely getting the train to Kortenberg to go spotting. I shall also be visiting Hasselt.

Dave,

You are a very lucky guy

The longest school trip I did one week in Wales (by Bus) BTW it was raining all the time and everybody was ill   Just because the teacher was an englishman we missed the opportunity to visit Malta (by plane  ) and instead saw the UK under rain

I've just returned from a vacation to New York for 4 days. 8)

BA (british): I got a very good deal 389 € .

BRU - LHR 319
LHR - JFK 747

JFK - LHR 777
LHR - BRU 757

It was I very nice trip. It was my first LHR and JFK visit. :wow:

Two years ago I went with CO to Newark.
Next year I'll probably go back, I must say I prefer CO and not BA.

I saw that the most off you prefer Delta ?
Why ?

I only fly with Northwest and as you know, they are an American airline, and they almost always let me go up to the cockpit. So I think you have a pretty good chance of seeing the cockpit.

As for me, I am planning to go to Phoenix, Arizona to see the Nascar race for my birthday.

That's new! They used to be staunchly unilingual... (no, not Dutch!)
