DC-10-Still alive in Europe?

Hey all!

I want to ask you this:The DC-10,the most beautiful aircraft in the world seems to still exist in Europe.I know that Yugoslav Airlines just gave up one but it seems like some other airlines in Europe have this aircraft in their fleet.So I was wondering do you know which are theese airlines?

Hi,

to my knowledge no European pax DC10 is current, the Electra one is grounded in Africa.

A few possibilities for boarding a DC10 in Europe:
@ EBBR Biman to Bangladesh or the States.
@ EHAM Northwest Airlines to the States.

Its perhaps also possible to take a jumpseat in one of several cargo companies operarting to the Benelux like Das Air, Gemini, World, etc.

Or you can try to visit the three Royal Netherlands Air Force planes.

6 x Dc10's on th eground at the same time the other day in Hahn, 3 x Omni and 3 Aeroflot Freighters...................

Fons, i don't think that list is current. Most of the planes in that list are allready stored or scrapped

The dutch Airforce operate 3 (K)DC-10-30

2 as an combi pax / cargo plane and Tanker
1 as an combi pax and cargo plane only ( so no tanker )

All based at Eindhoven air base
