Bad news for you then, if you didn't already know: they are moving the production of Hoegaarden to Jupille :(

If it's beer towns you want to talk about, then fire away

My personal favourite is Oudenaarde - the only place I've been able to drink Romy, the only place I've been able to buy Black Hole, the only place I know now where I can get Mater now that 't Brugs Beertje don't seem to have it. The only place I've seen Felix (but not tried it yet) and the home of my beloved.

I would like to visit Rochefort, as that is high up among my favourite beers.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

I just checked Belgian Railways - I can get a train from Brugge to Veurne via Lichtervelde.

BRUGES
LICHTERVELDE D:10:07
A:10:26 00:19 680 [L] KORTRIJK

LICHTERVELDE
VEURNE D:10:30
A:10:54 00:24 3631 [IR] DE PANNE

A stoptrein and a sh*tty. Lichtervelde is the place where the fog always seems to develop when we've been on our way to Kortrijk.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

I have visited the Hoegarden brewery and it was really good, we even got a glass at the end of the visit.
As good as the Kronenbourg visit I have done in Strasbourg with the school (secondary school was the good old time before 9/11, we even visited a nuclear power plant...).
