It will be dark when it lands in Brize Norton. Bad luck for the spotters!

Seems to be on the ground at Brize Norton now.
Departure could still be during daylight hours.

Spotting the An-225 Mriya at Brize Norton

Latest information on the An225 'Mryia'

ETD 15:00 UTC (17:00 Belgian time) from Brize Norton.

Expected route to Athens could take it straight over Belgium, according to this tweet which has a map with flight vector information of the route from Brize to Athens:

https://twitter.com/sierra5net/status/1 ... 1918150656

Can be tracked when in the air on https://www.flightradar24.com/ (Enter its registration number (UR82060) in the search box - if in the search results you see an icon of an aircraft next to its registration number, click the aircraft icon, that will take you to where it is on the map).

For those of you who have your own ADS-B receiver: its hex is 508035. In VRS you can either flag this as "interesting" so that it appears in bold at the top of your rceiver list, or you can add it to your LocalAircraft.txt to show up as "military".

Does anyone know if there are any other UK flights scheduled/anticipated? I missed Brize.

Welcome to Aviation24.be, allatpen.

Such flights are rarely known a long time in advance. We shall for sure mention them as soon as we learn about them.
