Twee Nederlandse luchtvaartmaatschappij...

Re: BRU 09/10/2013

I've seen pictures of OOSND in the red devils colours?

At the cargo apron (9) a zone is foreseen for the greeting by the fans!
How will they organise security? I don't see them screening 3.000 soccer fans before they enter the airside part of the airport?

Re: Thai Airways A330 crash lands at Suvarnabhumi Bangkok

If you board a plane in BKK sure, then it's not that difficult. Anywhere else in the world here Thai comes once a day people haven't got a clue. Go to the Nieuwstraat in Brussels and ask 10 people to describe how a Thai airways plane looks like. How many are gonna guess it you think? True, for us a...

Purely from a marketing point of view I can understand why they do that... Words don't last forever, pictures & movies do.

Re: Jetairfly to start Miami in summer 2014

The rest of your analysis reflects this irrelevance. Pax flying off to their cruise are not high or low yield by definition, as they are usually part of a package, with the main product being the cruise. As such, the tour operator will take margins on the total cost of the package rather than on si...

Re: Jetairfly to start Miami in summer 2014

Question : is there any possibility JAF might step into the transfermarket through their Brussels hub? i.e. could it be worthwile to explore the idea to have some of their European flights feeding the MIA-route?(and v.v.) in this way attracting TATL PAX from/to e.g. Athens,Palermo,Napels,Tel aviv,M...

Re: JAF To/From Caribbean via CPH or Billund

Indeed, they want to offer more flexibility by offering MAN / FRA departures to far away destinations. So you could leave BRU via FRA to PUJ book a 13 day holiday and return PUJ via MAN to BRU. UK domestic feeding will be by FlyBe. I have not heard anything about feeding from European mainland to MA...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2013

RMF, SSH, HRG are running smooth and that is not too strange. However I find it strange that CAI and Egyptair are still online. Anyone at CAI who knows more about the current security at CAI airport? Personal opinion: Not a smart move from ClubMed. Operationally (aviation wise) I can agree since the...
