I don't think large airports were upgrading because they were looking for that extra 100 or so passengers out of the A380.. i mean airports will not increase rent of its shops because it is now A380 capable right? And to be honest, what percentage of travellers really spend at airports? What the air...

Yea but if Emirates double their order to let's say 110 A380s, including Qatar and Eithad there would be over 120 A380s just for airlines based in that region.

Come on guys, China isn't as bad as what some might think, they do have some problems but if you consider the amount they produce and export, the stuff that has problems is really a small portion of their production, not saying that's tolerable though. Got to understand a lot of these 'problems' are...

Would be amazing if they can deliver it on time when it doesn't fly until December. Most likely there will be problems when it flies no matter how much simulation or ground testing they do, especially when this is the first full composite fuselage.

I cannot imagine an aircraft will have quietness levels that is absolute silence that will cause others to hear your conversation, this is in a world of its own, i can't believe it. According to this theory, anywhere public you should always generate noise loud enough that even when you speak normal...

It's just that there werent' any mention of 748I in the latest article so no one is talking about it, but given that they are replacing 744s, i don't believe they will replace the 744 fleet entirely with A380s, unless it is 'that' good.

The A380F programme is actually part of the A389 sharing similar reinforcement structures from what i understand, the A380F was ahead of the A389, and now the A380F has been paused, i don't think the A389 is anywhere near imminent.

Anyway has pictures or videos of the demo flight? Airbus should've captured a video of the flight for promotion. I heard news saying that Airbus might have another similar flight tomorrow with the winglets back on, i guess they might be unsatisfied to capture promotional pics/videos of the A380 with...

What were the plans for the A380-900? Was it supposed to be an 'improvement'/replacement to the A388 like how the 744 replaced the 743 which replaced 742? Or will they be compliments? When did Airbus say they will have the A389 ready by when the programme was initially launched? Of course I guess no...

Hey i thought BA is only replacing a portion of its 744s and 767s in this round of orders, why suddenly we suggest they will get 30 787s and 30 A350s and 25 A380s? I think it will more be like 5 A380s and a bunch of 787s in this order, A350 may not come into play for this round of replacement.

Has it got its winglets back on yet? Some news from Hong Kong are suggesting that the demo flight under 2000ft across Hong Kong will be flown without winglets... damn! Not sure if it's true though, because the very same article says the plane will be flown at a speed of 190miles per hour, and they r...

The more units you buy, the bigger the discount. Splitting an order negates that and you'll get LESS discount iso. more... That was the rule 5 years ago You have the choice: You buy 10 A350, you have 10% discount, you buy 20 A350, you have 13% discount If you buy 10 B787, you have 10% discount, you...

787 complementary to A350, they are in (kind of) two different markets, so why dont' you see they can be complementary models? I thought they are replacing some 747s and a batch of 767s now? 787 would surely be the closer alternative to 767. Actually might some airlines be waiting for the A380 stret...

Wow they removed the winglets and fly to Chiang Mai without them. Hope they'll get them back on before visiting HKG, would hate to see it flying across Victoria Harbour no in its perfect form!

Yes i think catering isn't really worth the money we pay for travel nowadays, the best you can get when you are hungry is proably a cup noodle, and apart from juice/softdrinks there is not really a good alternative for non-alcoholic drinks.. Nice to have a proper coffee (not just brown water + sugar...
