Re: Trivia 2015 (miscellaneous news)

Glider OO-YZM took off from Oostmalle and flew (glided) towards Mol, but was unable to return home. The glider therefore decided to land on a field near Turnhout. No injuries, no damage, so the photographer from local newspaper GVA saw only smiling faces: http://www.gva.be/cnt/blhot_01684870/zweefvl...

I find it unfair that you, as Ryanair's acting PRO, have to pay for this scouting trip.

Re: Ryanair in 2015

People vote with their wallet. Everywhere in the world. If the unions gain them a few euros they will be in favor. If the unions lose them euros they will not be in favor. It's simple. I did your same excercise with a weekend in sept CPH-MAD FR: 1200 DKK SAS: 5000 DKK Guess who they'll choose Weeke...

Re: Ryanair in 2015

Since when are you Union fan again btw? I'm not a trade Union fan, at the contrary. Actually, just a few minutes ago, I've just said that I'm no union lover: "... Because Ryanair and O'Leary have insulted the basics of their society - the Nordic model, in which unions are an important player (...

Re: Ryanair in 2015

So I ask you again. Why is Norwegian market leader within your "social Nordic model" and not sas? So I tell you again: it's this Irish over-self-confidence and arrogance that will hamper Ryanair’s operations in Denmark. So I tell you again: one of the basics of the "social Nordic mod...

Re: Ryanair in 2015

there are indeed quite some people who are willing to pay a bit more, if that will be in occordance to their conscience. Only a bit more ? I should think that no price is too high to put one's conscience at rest. It's this Irish over-self-confidence and arrogance that will hamper Ryanair’s operatio...

Yeah, because if [edited] says tomorrow: "Dear people, please dont fly Ryanair anymore, but spend double the money on your tickets with someone else." Im sure all Flemish people will comply. On topic: they won't have to spend "double the money". It has been proven a zillion time...

Re: Ryanair in 2015

Ryanair is enjoying generous rebates and bonuses as it sets up shop at Copenhagen Airport. The exact amount is a secret, but recent reports say the breaks run well into millions of kroner. Re: Jetairfly in 2015

In terms of brand awareness, this rebranding operation is plain stupid. If you say "Jetair", my brain instantly adds "de mooiste tijd van het jaar". It will take a decade before TUI will be able to substitute that. Agree. But I think they will not give up their brand names like ...

So from TUI Airlines (Belgium), which was considered a name 'not close enough and too unknown to its market', to Jetairfly, and now again to TUI Airlines? Someone's making big money and I guess it's not the employees but the marketing agencies who come up with these ideas. I also don't really see h...

If I understand the stopover to LIS was decided after the refuelling :?: I don't think so. I haven't spoken to someone from Jetair/jetairfly yet, but it looks to me as if the EuroAtlantic crew really had planned a stopover at LIS from the beginning. Maybe the stopover was needed to pickup extra cre...
