Re: brussels airlines to New York!
Get some English classes and a new pair of glasses. Talking about insults... to set up such a network takes huge resources, much more than 65M. It also takes a lot of time. Yet, if I were to believe you in another topic, Brussels Airlines' long haul network is complete crap: 5 inefficient A3...

Re: Aeroflot A320 contaminated wing take-off
Well, whether or not it is against the rules and thus illegal, quite a few accountants have been looking at this video in total disbelief wondering just why they are paying millions in de-icing fees every single winter, I am sure?!

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
Some South American route however, seems like a better target to me, or why not, the Caribbean: of the 3 big airline groups in Europe, LH is the only one totally absent in this region: this could even turn out to be a second niche of theirs, if it works well! Only problem with the Caribbean is whic...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
I find it highly insulting to post something that doesn't have any meaning after accusing of nonsense Just because someone doesn't share your belief, doesn't automatically make that an insult. Another insult. Ut supra  Maybe LH is planning to carry out euthanasia on SN to transfer Africa to G...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
Question to the moderators: Has any of you been tampering with some of the posts here? I ask because for some reason there has been a very significant change made to one of my previous posts! The post in question contained a rather shocking quote from Flanker on him being foed by several members of ...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
As for the success of BRU-JFK. It all depends on how they're going to do in the Winter. Anyone knows that demand for transatlantic flights is high during Summer and goes down heavily in Winter (with January - March being the most depressing time). exactly my thoughts I am convinced there's a good r...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
My opinions on SN are based on sound and detailed analysis. Maybe that's true, but allow me to say that whereas you always say so, you haven't posted much of all that so far; all we've seen from you are very negative conclusions yet whether or not those are based on any factual evidence indeed, or ...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
the main reason why JFK is launched is not to allow pax more US destinations via JFK but to use it as feeder for the africa network + O&D. That's how I understood it too: to stimulate this route further, they must above all grow at the BRU (and in fact African) side; then this route can't do ba...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
To me, given the current deteriorating financial situation of the company and unpredictable outlook in a very unstable business environment which seems to be turning bitter negative, I find this launch reckless and very difficult to justify. So they have taken a calculated risk by moving outside of...

Re: Korongo Airlines
I think it is only a matter of time before Korongo will be given an exception on the list, by having its wet leased aircraft explicitly excepted from the EU ban. It has happened in the past for other airlines but for that to happen they must first have started operations so the Belgian CAA which is ...

Re: BRU: Monthly traffic figures 2012
You have a valid point indeed. They are using a 77W on BOM on some days of the week which does not continue transatlantically. In that case the number of transit passengers is indeed decreasing by definition as even those onboard the flight from BOM which otherwise continues to Toronto it is I think...

Re: BRU: Monthly traffic figures 2012
Good to see the numbers increase. Just hope it also means LF's are on the rise also. This we can see in the difference between the rising pax figures and the decreasing movement figures. I have to admit that the biggest part in decreasing movement figures is due to the non-commercial flights becaus...

Re: New long-haul revolutionary configuration at B.Airlines
Indeed! Here you go: count to 9, flanker! ;) http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6729496 You are forgiven for failing to know the seat block of 2 at Swiss has indeed an extra armrest/table installed, thus taking away the benefit of the single armrest/table of the individual K seats.... The picture...

Re: New long-haul revolutionary configuration at B.Airlines
Because there isn't any, IMHO: 2-2-1 is just the same as 2-1-2, the first one just a bit odd at first.
You better take a good look into a Swiss business class cabin to figure this one out: by your weird method of counting, they are at 9 abreast to you know???

It's the same seat, dude... Get over it. The number of seats doesn't matter.
Jee, what have they done to you? Got sacked by them, or what. It is really getting pathetic.
Edit: sorry for loosing my temper.

Re: New long-haul revolutionary configuration at B.Airlines
I have flown business class on Swiss many times and they seem to have the same seats at first glance: believe me: they are simpy marvellous at night. This is so much better than those bombastic business class seats put up in some sort of a pastic shell like you sometimes see: they do look great at f...
