Has anyone else noticed that those who lack the intellect to engage in knowledgeable and intelligent discussions on a subject, resort to personal attacks on individuals in an effort to draw attention away from the subject at hand. achace you really need to go back and read your own postings as objec...

That was the whole point of my response. His opinon is just that, his opinion, and totally subjective. As I pointed out, the airlines, not the manufacturer, decide how many seats, what kind of seats, how wide they are, and how far apart they will be placed, both side to side and front to back (pitch...

Well in my view nothing surpasses the A330 / 340 for passenger comfort in either business or economy..... Well, in my view that is just not true. :? It is the airlines that decide how many seats and where to place them and based on my own personal experience I have found the A330/340 to be inferior...

Boeing fuselage Section 41
Interesting information, but it still looks like a smooth transition from fuselage to section 41 to me.
Thanks, again.

The 777 used the same avionics bay as the 767, to save on cost and design time. That makes it look funny I think. Not a clean slope from barrel to nose, but an abrupt transition. I guess my eyes must be getting old, because I don't see what you are talking about. http://www.boeing.com/companyoffice...

Sorry, I don't believe that is correct. On 30 May 2006, Qatar ordered 6, B777-200LRs and 14, B777-300ERs, and on 13 December 2006, they ordered 2, B777 Freighters. Deliveries will start in November of this year.foxtrot_lima_yankee wrote: No they cancelled their order with Boeing, nd made them look stupid

Yes but Airbus probably specified maximum loading at the front end of the plane, which is probably less than, for example, in the middle of the plane... And then what would you put in that same space? One tourist seat? Two? Three? Leave it empty? At what point can the airlines still have revenue ge...

Well, let's see....2007 minus 1966 comes to....41, not 50. Was the actual design finished 41 years ago? No, I think that was when they started the project. Regardless the 747 is a beautiful airplane. A far, far better looking aircraft than the A380. No contest. The design is timeless and it will nev...

747-8 Freighter program is going strong. This will be I believe the 5th customer for the freighter. Overall, a good day for Boeing getting good orders from a finance group, CO and Russian freighter carrier. 7th.
