Temporary unemployment indeed starts: as from next week.

Re: CASA crash in Haiti kills 11 military
You are right: that comment surprised me : "The UN doesn't mount a military surveillance mission over hazardous, difficult terrain for nothing. More pointedly, a Stinger-type missile can be fired by even a determined 12-year old. Which might explain why the UN observers went on foot, rather th...

Re: Pilots blinded by laser, how is this possible ?
Just two very recent press reports about these incidents: On 26 Sept 2009, the Scottish Sun reported that a 19-year old youth has been arrested (only a shortwhile probably) near Glasgow, after excellent police work: the cockpit crew of a 757 reported they were blinded by a beam during final approach...

Lawsuit against BRU-strikers 13 April 2007 has started
A very special trial has started today in Brussels: 272 travellers are demanding an indemnity of 620.000 euro from 47 strikers, one trade union, two trade union bosses and Brussels Airport Company because of the damage, caused by the wildcat strike at BRU on 13 April 2007. For those who don't rememb...
