Untill about two years ago, i used the Star Alliance screen saver. I thought it was pretty cool, but they stopped supporting it a while ago. Does anybody know of any other cool (civil) aviation screensavers ? If yes, could you be so kind to include a link in your reply ?
Thanks !

Re: Crash at SFO! Asiana Airlines Boeing 777
I arrived at SFO on july 10th The wreck and the debris trail were still present on the runway. I arrived on BA287 and landing on the runway next to the wreck was pretty sobering. Last friday the removal of the wreckage was live on tv In the mean time, the crew is getting a lot of kudos in the local ...

Re: Solar Impulse to fly US coast-to-coast in 2013
hmmmpppffff As regards Dutch grammar, it is either "je/jij slaat" or "gij/ge slaagt", or so I was taught at school. But that's a long time ago, admittedly, perhaps they changed it since. Can't see any good reason, though. jij slaat = you hit something/someone gij slaagt = you su...

I'm looking to make a booking with Southwest airlines in july of next year, but at this time bookings can just be made till up to april 12th 2013. It has been like this for the last few weeks.

Re: "Brussels Airlines new US destination"-poll (after JFK)
I voted for Boston, seemingly the most popular choice. Personally i would also take a long look at Atlanta. I know, the Delta dominance at ATL is daunting, but it seems a bit underserved by Star Alliance carriers (from the top of my head, i think only LH offers transantlantic flights there...) Might...

famous people aboard your flight ?
This summer, on two seperate occasions famous people boarded the same flight i was on. On july 16th, when my family and me went on a trip to Sicily (AZ, BRU to PMO via FCO) we were waiting to board our flight (an A-321) when there was some turmoil around our gate area. A group of african-americans o...

Re: How did your passion start?
I can pinpoint the start of my passion for planes and flying to one precise moment. I must have been around 5 or 6 years old when my mom and dad took me to the airport at Ostend, which at that time had an open air terrace. there was only one airplane present near the terminal, but what a beauty she ...
