Reports of the Belgian Media are confusing. They say that landing will be on a dry lake in California. But isn't that White Sands in New Mexico? Or is the landing area on Edwards AFB also a dry lake? Is it me or the Media who is wrong? Koen I don't trust the media. I trust NASA TV. See the comments...

With every single plane delayed 6 months, it is not a small sum, the A380 programme will quite surely be a loss start... It is now 2005 and Airbus had heaps of new versions of planes in the past years, why can't they actually make a schedule that they can meet? Simple. Manufacturing of an aircraft ...

They can refurbish it and at some part they can make a little museum with the Belgian nostalgia of airlines during the pasts. I hope they find the money to make it modern. Maybe they can used it in the future. I think there are 6 or 7 gates so place enough. Another idea: Transformation in a busines...

I think we should not speculate. Dedicate the satellite for US flights will generate many costs for: - adapting the access to the building - additional security - additional staff - adapting all the gates to wide-body aircraft - etc, etc. Generating costs is only possible if there is a real return ...

Re: Finger Zuid

Real Levasseur, leading the investigation by Canada's Transportation Safety Board, emphasised that wind shear likely wasn't a factor in the crash -- as has been speculated -- because that usually would only affect aircraft in flight. He also doubted lightning played a role. And here is the confirma...
