Re: Eurowings vs. Brussels Airlines

I find the poll incomplete, why not add the name "LUFTHANSA" as a 4th option. I also still do not understand why brands like myaustrian, and swiss are still around. Lufthansa could have created one big single name/brand monster company with several european hubs operated by the different ...

That's the parking I'm speaking about, for the noise it's not clear for me I always have to walk from left to right to see where he will arrive. Take two steps back next time in stead of standing right in front of the lift door. You'll see all of 'em. Plus, each call button only calls on two or thr...

Re: Brussels Airlines future and financial perspective

It's quite hilarious to see that people here actually seem to think SN will be deep frying the chips on board the aircraft, causing the plane to smell like a 'frituur'.

Think, people. Think.

The only one with a 'round' wall is P3, and the lifts do make a sound when they arrive there, and they all work.

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

I'm in Brussels Airport to take my flight and I was surprised that the tents are still there!!!! It's horrible looks like third world country... If these checks stay's they have to do it properly with a good infrastructure. I do not mind the tent by itself as a temporary building but getting this o...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

Well, I Am fulminating. At least sitting in the BA business lounge. I am allowed 60 kg of luggage, but limited myself for once (because of Brussels Airport) to 40 kgs plus my cabin bag. A female police officer spotted me from far and with her arm made it clear I should go through the metal detector...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Don't count on it. A350 is probably overkill for many of SN's routes. Why would the A350 overkill many of the routes of SN, the A350 has 3 size, the smallest of the A350, the A350-800 is smaller than the A330-300. The A350 would definitely be a good solution for the long haul fleet! The A350-800 ha...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

I'm dreaming of a press release saying SN is getting 15 shiny factory new A350s... 8-) Don't count on it. A350 is probably overkill for many of SN's routes. Now the A330neo on the other hand, that one seems like a perfect fit for SN. But in reality, expect them to get newish second hand A330-300s l...

Lots of bloody drama queens here all of a sudden, on BOTH sides of the issue. Flanker2, we're NOT 'at war'. We're facing a serious security threat, and that needs to be dealt with in the most efficient and effective way possible, but turning the country into a bloody fortress is NOT that way. Stop r...

Exactly! You don't abolish a perfectly good system because some people abuse it. You stop the abuse.

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

So it seems that there are no queues outside now despite the pre-screening. Was that so difficult? It took BRU weeks to achieve this, which boggles my mind. Also, I would like to ask the idiots around here who were against maintaining the pre-screening what justification they have now to still advo...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

Isn't this the same as what BRU "advised" before the attacks? Only, back then there was no need to follow it; I always aimed at being at the airport 1 hour to 45 minutes before departure (for Schengen flights). Not sure if I would risk that now... From what we're hearing, there currently ...
