Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Anyone knows what OO-SFE is doing in Amman? Yesterday and today OO-SFE had several short flights (?). I thought it was only there for a cabin refit. Or are there also technical issues with the bird? See: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/oo-sfe Cheers, Danny these are no flights but just ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

A stap back from a true hybrid model ? This going to make them loose business pax. They asked their frequent passengers what they wanted to have during the flight, and the majority replied they wanted to have more flexibility rather than a snack/meal so they'll loose some but they'll have some more...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

All future planes will be painted in Eurowings colors.. and this to be more flexible for the group, if they need more planes during winter in Germany Belgians can go fly there and if Belgium needs more planes during summer planes can be send to Belgium operated by Germans .. and this all to make it...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

No comment... they could have least have retained the belgianwings brand as kind of compromise... to keep a belgian identity within the -wings concept... they don't know what to do with the Belgian brand, that's why it's in EW colors + it's one from LH, no leasing done by SN so sadly LH can decide ...

OO-SNN just landed in Brussels Airport, coming in from EMA. Has someone been able to spot her? Three days later, still waiting for the first commercial flight. Curious to know the first "Eurowings" destination of that aircraft? Some hot sunny Mediterranean leisure spot? will be operationa...

Question :?: : When will the new EW/SN entity leave Star Alliance? We all know Eurowings is totally separated from Star... I have heard in 2022 at the latest, but how will they proceed if the SN brands survive for the long-haul? That must be a headache. :| I tend to say that North Atlantic a...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

SN has been looking at the A321LR, an ideal plane for thinner intercontinental routes (North America, e.g. Boston, or Africa, to make some destinations daily instead of twice-weekly). Other European airlines are successfully introducing the A321LR on such routes, namely TAP and Aer Lingus. Mutti Lu...
