Re: Template suggestion when writing trip reports

I think there is certainly one crucial element that should be used to rate an airline expercience is how friendly the crew was.

Re: Air Belgium: a rebirth?

Plus they already have made some sort of name for themselves as they went recruiting cabin crew in China, so it isn't really the case that they are completely anonymous.

I'm not sure whether AB can even let their A340 come to Belgium without their AOC.

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2017

If I'm not wrong: the 2nd Dreamliner will be another 787-8 from another airline in the TUI-group and the new 787-9 will then go to this other airline, not TUI Belgium.

And still waiting for the Belgian AOC for the F50, as there are still some points that have to be closed/clarified.

Re: News from Eurowings 2016-2017

Why would an airline within a group not be able to go bankrupt? If such an airline makes that much losses that it affects the whole group, it would be quite logical to let it go bankrupt to save the airline group.

I use Spot2log, pay once and you can keep on logging aircrafts via an application on your computer.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Bernard Gustin said in an interview to VTM that the RJ100 is quite old and has 4 engines, so not that cheap in costs compared to other types of aircraft. If you say that, this is a contradiction with the fact that you'll be flying in Germany with old 4-engined A343's. Shows quite clearly that LH dec...

That suspension is so stupid. Why would you suspend pilots if 1) there are no more longhaul flights and 2) if AB stops flying next week?

Probably because it was a military flight. Technically they didn't land at BRU, but at Melsbroek and thus the military airport.

And I read somewhere that the A319 program will be stopped for the C-series as Airbus didn't get any order for an A319 during a couple of years already.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017

You can also ask the question whether SN has still to pay that much for birds with 4 engines which are all 16 years or even older. In the worst case SN "buys" 2 343's which are 20 and 21 years old. I'm not so sure whether they'll be that expensive to "buy". Anyone who has an idea...

Indeed, and doesn't this mean that if a flight is delayed/cancelled, the costs are for SN?
