Hi Sterre! Wat hebt u uiteindelijk beslist ? In ieder geval moeilijk ...

Here some figures: MAD-BRU 1316 km 1:37 BRU-TYO 9463 km 11:41= 10779 km MAD-HEL 2952 km 3:39 HEL-TYO 7829 km 9:40 HEL-HKG 7821 km 9:39 10772 km MAD-HEL-TYO is almost a straight line So mad-tyo via hel = 2952 + 7829 = 10781 km To compare with mad-tyo via bru = 10779 km Therefore the latter is also a...

Project 2: bru-del-hkg bru-bom-bkk Seems viable if you can load pax/cargo in del/bom Otherwise I should try engineering another scheme. project 1: NewYork-bru-del I should say that any scheme like NorthEast America/Canada - bru - IndianSubcontinent (Pakistan included) sounds very viable to me provid...

While not being an industry specialist, I would like to comment if you don't mind. First this is very good news. It reveals BRU's airport very promising long-haul potential not only because there is no base/flag carrier serving that segment but also because of BRU's interesting geopolitical location...

I flew a few years ago with PIA from FRA to YTO via WAS. It was the cheapest fare I could find at the time. And I must say the service quality was in tune with the western best standards. From my point of view, it certainly was the best quality/price ratio you could ever hope for. As everybody in th...

Jet Airways has sought to expand its footprint up to New York, with a daily flight from Delhi via Brussels Would be a nice replacement for Biman if they leave BRU for BCN. There is no formal indication whatsoever that BG would trade BRU for another transfer station ! Everybody is welcome at Brussel...

Very very good news indeed !!! Lets hope it will materialize ! I think Brussels has plenty to offer in such east-west links. The more we have them the more chance we have to create in BRU a real active node for intercontinental market ! And SNBA should paly an essential feeding role in that picture....

Re: A380
I know it's the aerodynamics of high subsonic speeds, but I still don't get it. How can an aircraft have low drag with such a nose and such a thick wing root? . To me it looks a bit like a big B-737 ! Of course being bigger the nose is shaped differently and it has 4 engines of course... I shoud'nt...

They go the way opposite to that of SN Brussels Airways. They started big and now they have to reduce. SN BA started small and now they can expand. Two bankruptcies, and two very different ways to handle the aftermath. Wishful thinking André ! I don't think Swiss started big ! It started small and ...
