except the fact that you can not enjoy the luxury of a jetway like most of the times in BRU (especially when you have an early morning flight and it is freezing outside). You can travel (which includes flying) with a national ID-card issued by an EU member State to any EU member State + Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Lichtentstein, Andorra, Monaco, the Vatican, San Marino (forgot a country ?).
