Ik heb ook geregeld problemen met de website van Brussels Airport, vooral dan met de link naar het type vliegtuig.

Op dit ogenblik is de website zelfs helemaal niet bereikbaar.

Some airlines reduce capacity during the winter season. Continental may also do this, hence maybe the downgrade from 772 to 764. I hope we will see the 772 again for the 2008 summer season.

I don't think that these models are discontinued, since they were only added to their inventory about a month ago. Instead, I think that Cathay Pacific models are exclusive models that are not available in the regular collection, and therefore are not mentioned on the Herpa website.

Herpa does have Cathay Pacific models in the 1/500 scale, see for instance 747-200F Silver Bullet and 747-400F.

And apparently Jetair has already found a replacement aircraft. According the Brussels Airport website, the flight to Punta Cana and Montego Bay will be flown by a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar. I guess that this will be the EuroAtlantic one?

I think he is talking about a cargo flight. On the Brussels Airport website, WO900 to Helsinki is mentioned under cargo departures. It was supposed to leave at 11.30, but the actual flight status is not updated yet. The flight is however not cancelled at this time. It is operated by a DC-10F, and fr...

OK, sorry for the double posting. I didn't know this was already mentioned. The article appeared on the site of that newspaper today, so that's why I posted it. But I should have known that Luchtzak-members are always better informed than the press.

Hainan reduces # flights to BRU

According to the Flemish newspaper De Standaard, Hainan will reduce its number of flights to BRU by 50%. Instead of 4 flights a week, only 1 or 2 flights a week will be offered during the winter season. One of the reasons mentioned is the low number of passengers. Normally, the frequency should incr...

The AA flight coming from New York landed at 8h51. Since the plane was on his way to EBBR anyway (so this was not a diversion), I guess it will be this one. The departure of this plane is also delayed.
