Hello ground effect! Is there an additional challenge/prize for leaving ground-effect height with a human-powered helicopter?

It is starting to look a bit like the Turkish crash at AMS.

It could have something to do with the ILS not being ready for use (certified) for another two months. Then again, that should not really be relevant at this time of the year.

I would fly it but I am not 100% sure that I would admit to it.

Also, I am not 100% sure that deploying thrust reversers is such a great thing to do if one of your engines just broke down. At best, you get very asymmetric reverse thrust.

They should use Hello Kitty luggage tags and boarding passes. Or do they?

The planes are called the CS100 and the CS300, not that difficult a name.

Except this train has nothing to do with either NS or SNCB/NMBS! You can't do this without SNCB/NMBS as they have a monopoly on accepting pax on Belgian soil. There has been talk about this for weeks and the general conclusion is that it won't make sense unless it can take local Belgian passengers ...

Well, the bottom of the inside of the cowling is a convenient location to put objects. Can a normal person even reach the top of the engine cowling on an A320?

What would be more interesting (to me at least) is a list of passenger-miles carried by various airlines.

Perhaps it will be the first one to fly both on international routes, seeing how the Chinese authorities only allow domestic use of the 787 for now?

Well, they should install stickers in the wheel wells saying 'slow and unpleasant death guaranteed' in a number of languages. Since that is what usually happens.
