Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
SN's lounge is not filled with AV geeks only ;). Passengers using future EW feeder flights to/from BRU may appreciate the lounge, just as business travellers will appreciate the priority checkin/security/boarding. It may be a factor, so with jerry I am curious what direction they will be moving in....

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
@SkyTourist: the problem is that EW is not a *A member and as such you do not get the additional benefits, such as lounge access and priority boarding. It’s true that you might be able to get miles with some agreements with AC, UA, NH but *A is way bigger than that. But as I said before, perhaps it ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
I am a *A gold and the only reason I fly SN (staying in the area, not BXL directly) is because of those benefits. Also, have to say that SN is the only airline that has thanked me for my business with them (not even my "parent" *A gold airline has done it). If they completely transform to ...

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2019
It seems so. I guess spotting-wise this is going to be an interesting summer but passenger-wise not so much. The availability of 320/737 should be so scarce that airlines were not able to recover from the MAX disaster. If I find time I will try to do a mapping of how airlines handled that (wetleasin...

Re: Ryanair in 2018
Yes, but keep in mind that as they say in the ridiculous FAQ, there is a cap for 95 priority passes. So there is a chance that you might be "forced" to buy a checked bag if you don't do it early. So they found a way to officially charge for the carry-on luggage and they are trying to "...

Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
I find the SSJ way more comfortable than the airbuses (comeon, seat-pitch 32 compared to the 30 of airbuses?). Moreover, the 2-3 configuration is way better than the 3-3. I had 3 flights so far, all with no problem (but I acknowledge that I was among the lucky ones)

Re: Any experiences of flying on Swiss via ZRH?
If you have a single ticket, then they will take care of you in case of late incoming flight. It's happened to me to be an the usually late LX729 (AMS-ZRH) with a tight connection (1h15 min). They held our flight (since it was LAS and any rerouting would be messy) but many lost their connections and...

Re: In the Aer Lingus: DUB-BRU
Soon I will have the opportunity to compare both FR and EI on the same route (I go with FR, return with EI). I have some questions: - Can you checkin online and select your seat (without any charge) or is there random assignment? - What were the prices for inflight shopping? - How was the LF? I foun...

Thanks! I guess if the hotel is expensive enough, the sleeper seats are oneway!
p.s. You should have taken the morning Air China to Barcelona! It would be nice
