Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

The facade of the terminal, departure hall, is under renovation. The side wall, next to this one of the Deloitte building, is already finished. This is done in the same stone as the Deloitte building. Now the front part is under renovation Pictures available ?? Hopefully it will be more than some '...

Re: 2020 Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news

TLspotting wrote: 02 Jan 2020, 00:19 My thought is that one of the 2 new airlines at Charleroi can't be Brussels Airlines, as he would have already invited Vranckx at CRL to negociate.

It would be a non sense to say that it is Beeline, as negociations doesn't seem to have started yet.
How do you know ??

Re: Brussels Airport monthly traffic figures

[[ off-topic ]] For this once, dear @Atlantis, I feel it is you that are needlessly negative. Certainly there are those who post all kinds of ideas about how to improve airports and/or airlines; it annoys me too because it sounds so much like the "armchair manager" phenomenon that I so lo...

Re: Brussels Airport monthly traffic figures

Ajax & AMS : huge potential and getting better and bigger, reasonable dividend paid to shareholders. Shareholders acting more responsibly, thinking about future. Not quick bucks. The Schiphol Group is in hands of the Dutch state (70%), the city of Amsterdam (20%) and the city of Rotterdam (2%),...

Re: Brussels Airport monthly traffic figures

You are welcome to your opinion, yes, of course, for what it is worth. As I've stated before: opinions are plenty, and cheap - everybody has several on hand. Better have more to offer, though, than criticism from the side line - that is all too easy. Like all those "supporters" at Anderle...

it is pityful to see things moving soo slowly Another armchair airport manager? GO FOR IT! Convince them you can do better and then DO better! They'll be glad to make you welcome! Unbelievable. About three years after the biggest terror attack ever in Belgium, the airport has not only recovered, but also has set a new passengers record. But some people suggest it's not that good at all... Congratulations, Brussels Airport! Exactly. Even in not easy circumstances with our hom...

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines

Apples and oranges: you cannot say SIN has 40K pax from BRU, which currently means everyone flying from A BRU to B SIN via XYZ means to go there and in the same paragraph say this or that ME3 hub has that many passengers to/from BRU, knowing that the vast majority of those pax are not flying to/fro...

And once again: strong rumours that SIA will start flights to and from BRU in 2020. Very curious. Meanwhile confirmed. This is Good News. A Premium Airline. Re: Transavia to fly from BRU with 2 Boeing 737s in Summer 2020

[I share the same opinion as Inquirer. That market is already overcrowded. Destinations have not been announced yet, but one can only think they'll start with the most popular ones Indeed 737MAX, let's see what routes they announce. I really do hope they go for the less obvious routes like Zurich, ...
